Visit the portalFive rules apply everywhere, whether it is a volcano in Sicily or a bridge over the Havel. Some of the sources we rely on:
We ask the park authority, the government agency or the operator first. Tourism boards come after that, travel blogs never. Every figure shows its source and the date it was last checked.
A blank field beats a guessed opening time. Uncertain details stay in our internal data and do not appear on the page.
Every night, programs fetch water levels, alert levels, closures and prices. Anything that has changed is flagged and only goes live once someone has checked it.
The travel portals earn commissions from GetYourGuide, Viator and Tiqets. We still show the price the operator charges directly. Offers without reviews are left out.
A new page is only built once we have measured that people search for it, and only if it answers something not yet answered elsewhere.
Two names stand behind every portal, the same two names you find in the imprint. We only publish what we can back up.

Daniela researches and checks what goes into the portals: sources, prices and opening hours. Anything she cannot verify stays off the page.

Kai develops the concepts, gathers the data and builds the technology. A web developer for over 15 years, he also programs the nightly checks that keep the portals up to date.
Daniela Pieper and Kai-Michael Rauch in Berlin. Rauch Media is the name under which they publish the portals. They research, write and build them themselves.
The travel portals earn a commission when someone books through a partner link with GetYourGuide, Viator or Tiqets. The price is the same as when booking directly. Some advice sites pass enquiries on to specialist firms and are paid by the firm. Other portals, such as Vereinsbühne and the cooperative atlas, earn no money.
Please email kai@rauch-media.de. Include the link to the page and, if possible, the correct source. We handle corrections before anything else.
Tell us which offer you mean. We add what fits the portal's topic and can be backed by sources. What we need from you is listed on the contact page.
